Well, not a whole ton to report these days... Pia finally made it to the Bahamas on Saturday, so I've just been enjoying pretending that I live alone again for a few days! I cleaned the apartment yesterday (except my bedroom, which really needs to get tackled) which may actually stand a chance of staying clean - at least until Peeps gets back. ;) I also said goodbye to my friend Chase, who was my boss out at Camp Cross and is moving back to Japan on Wednesday - a great party, complete with rain/snow, barbecue, beer pong with some of Spokane's finest lawyers and incredibly stout beer (not fun at all, cuz it is way too filling), and lots of inappropriate jokes and music. A fitting send-off! ;)

This next week promises to be fairly uneventful... laundry and room cleaning today, a baby shower for a work friend tomorrow, and on Friday Pia and I will head over to Pullman to watch cousin Caris' senior project fashion show!

My favorite time of year...

It's March Madness! My absolute favoritest sporting event of all time... and I took today and tomorrow off work so I wouldn't miss a single second of the first 2 rounds! It will be nothing but basketball in this house for the next 3 weeks (unless the Zags fold spectacularly and I get too depressed to keep watching)...

The Zags made it past the first round (for the first time in 3 years) and thank the lord - i was nervous for a few minutes there! And the bracket has not yet been busted. Hurray!

Blast from the Past

For some reason I started thinking about how much I loved the worst movie ever made - "Teen Witch" - and was wondering if it was available on DVD. (It is.) This, of course, led me to youtube, and I now present for your viewing pleasure one of the most horrid, awesome, hilarious, tacky, frighteningly 80's clips ever - The "Top That" rap!

Meg, you should have just shown this movie on repeat during your 80's prom...

made it back alive!

Well it was an absolutely gorgeous weekend skiing! I helped chaperone the diocesan youth for winter weekend and went up to 49 Degrees North... I managed not to slap any high-schoolers (quite the feat, I promise) and not fall on my skis at all as well! I of course forgot my camera, but took a couple of pics on my phone for you - not too bad for being in the middle of a run! :) And check out my adorable zebra-print goggles... love em!

Off to the Mountain!

I apologize for my usual lack of blogging, haven't been up to anything other than work and celebrating P's birthday... But I'm off to go skiing for the weekend at 49 Degrees North with the diocesan youth, so should have some pics for you when I get back! :) Wish me luck, I haven't skied in a couple of years, this could be ugly!
