for my mom...

For those of you who don't know, my mom is a terrible bike rider.
But her heart is in the right place. She continues to go out there and try, despite the fact that history is not on her side (see here. and here. And don't forget this classic - she still has the scars.)
So, mom? I love you. But i think it's time for this:

Yes, you will lose all street cred. But we prefer you alive.

it's so sad. and so true. I really cannot ride anything with 2 wheels. I need the adult trike. And even that is probably iffy.

oh Katie - this made my afternoon - after I was finally able to stop guffawing and calming down the shoulder shakes. I love your mother - the end.

i think this is the perfect solution. i still cant figure out how someone that has ridden a bike as many times as mom has can still be so awful at it.

it must be an inner-ear thing. NO ONE is that "tippy" in real life, without having some sort of legit medical issue.

she just has a bad case of the Sundstrom Tipping Over Disease (ask Kirdy about it)

it's all mental. I just have a hideous fear of anything with 2 wheels. Another one of my "quirky" emotional issues.

(That was Lavs above) I personally do NOT have a fear of things with 2 wheels! :P

Let's just get her a wheel chair. We'd all be safer.
