Lucy Lou

I don't want to be one of those people who only blog about their dog. But I have nothing else, and Lucy takes up 90% of my time, and Pia is yelling at me to post something. So, on our 2 week anniversary, here are some things I've learned about my pup:
1) She LOVES me. And pretty much everyone else she's ever met. But she is my shadow at all times when I'm home. Never more than 2 feet from me. :P
2) She is killer with a tennis ball - and this makes me soooo happy, cuz all I wanted was a dog who would play fetch! (Although she won't bring the ball back until she has spent a good 3 minutes tearing around the yard at top speed with it first...)
3) She is pretty smart (I think)... she can "sit" like no one's business, and is slowly learning other tricks as well (week 2 of puppy school is on Monday).
4) She likes to have a wide variety of toys/chewies that she can choose between - but will always pick Joan over any other.
5) She is pretty much the cutest, sweetest puppy in the whole world! :)

Here is my girl playing ball in the weeds in our backyard...

Love this picture! I can't wait to go take some fetch pictures of you two outside. Maybe tomorrow... And thanks for blogging. I was sick of checking your never changing page. Oh and I don't know who Lucy loves more: your or Joan? It's a total toss-up so don't make her choose ever!

I'd hate to have to make her choose betw. you and Joan, it WOULD be a total brain-buster for Woofy. Mike P. loves her sooo much too, she's just his size. She is a good grand-baby, even if she did tackle my 40 buck skein of lace yarn and render it a complete tangled mess.

i would never make her pick. but i like to think she'd choose me. ;)

and that yarn tackle was kind of your fault...

Well I don't think I can be as deep as the previous post but I love dog posts. She is adorable! Love that you have her in puppy kindergarten. totally should have done that with Rudder. What do they say about jumping? I will say rudder has calmed a bit...but he's still W-I-L-D. I did run 6.5 miled with him the other day with a slack leash the ENTIRE time. (Until a dog charged us that is) And I think lucy would def pick you over Joan.
