Why I love my mother.

Pia informed us today that she will no longer answer to the nickname "Rotch" due to it sounding too similar to "crotch" (which is, clearly, exactly why we love it). So when mom gave into her little tirade and corrected herself after saying Rotch, I got pissed. And told her I was going to just start making up new nicknames. And the first one I came up with was "Vagina." So then mom and I started dying, I called her "Vag," then Lavs came up with "Her Vagisty" which of course had the 2 of us crying tears of laughter and Pia storming out of the room. I fucking love my mother.

Vagisty is much better. Goes along better with the original spelling of the intended word. And it looks more like VagIna. Haha, Sorry Pia, this is my life with my sibs. I always thought that Rotch was a horrible name though.

you cant deside you no longer want a nickname after having it for the last ten years. i have to admit "Her Vagisty" does sound like a good one though! I agree with Lis, best blog post ever. I can see you two goons dying of laughter while the rotcher is sitting there fuming!

Good thing Loutie and I weren't there - we had many tears of laughter and various liquids coming out of our noses when we had a mini-knitting retreat this weekend (Josh's mother is in town)- Her Vagisty would have put us over the top - now we will HAVE to make the Yarngina!

OMFG, milk is burning my nasopharynx. Agreed that Rotch is an awful nickname, and agree that her vagisty is the best nickname...ever! EVER! EVER! EVER!
And the added touch of Car calling Peeps 'rotchster'...you made my October...and it hasn't even started yet.

For the record, I laughed when mom said it because it was funny. I got pissed when Katie blogged it because I asked her not to do it. I really didn't want a post about me and vaginas circling the internet. Especially since in this family shitty nicknames like this stick. And if it does, I probably will stop speaking to Katherine Ann...
