i was whining to the mother that i have nothing to blog about, and i never take pics of anything anymore, so she said i should just write about my new job. so here it is.
i am currently working at cancer care northwest, which is exactly what it sounds like - a cancer clinic with sites around spokane and outlying areas. i am orienting at the valley site, which has been great - the girls (and i work with probably 98.9% girls and the only guys are over age 50 and married...) are all super nice and friendly. i will eventually be the float nurse, going to whichever site is short-staffed. usually the south hill location since that one's the biggest. basically giving chemo is the same everywhere, so it shouldn't be too bad. and i only have to work 4 days a week, and have had fridays off since i started which has been awesome!
oh i saw the new Ricky Gervais movie, "ghost town," the other day - it was funny, you should go see it too. he is weird looking (though not as much an oddity as karl pilkington) but you get used to him and then the movie gets better... ;)
