exciting things...

I haven't been a good blogger (as usual) - partly because I hate blogging, and mostly because I've been working what feels like non-stop.

I picked up a 2nd job recently at Sacred Heart (one of the local hospitals) - so I could save up money for a house!

Yes, I'm officially house hunting!

It is VERY exciting, the thought of not being a renter any more.  And earning equity on something.  Not so exciting?  The thought of a mortgage.  And being responsible for fixing anything that may break. And the thought of leaky roofs, and leaky foundations, and knob-and-tube wiring, and shitty plumbing.  (Perhaps I might watch a little too much Holmes Inspection?)

But I've talked to the bank, met with my realTOR, been scouring the housing listings and Zillow and all that fun stuff.  So shit's getting real, people.

Of course, I'm sure I'll be bringing along most of the Longinotti clan at some point or another, which is excellent as I love living with my siblings/mom 99% of the time.  And the only thing I demand is a good yard for Lulu and Walt.  So hopefully everyone will be happy when all is said and done.

But for now, it's back to work work work.  And if I have any rich readers out there who want to donate, I do accept Paypal. ;)
